SPX Tank Heater Pads have been specifically designed for the temperature maintenance and freeze protection of heat-sensitive polyethylene and polypropylene tanks. No other product has ever been designed with this application specifically in mind. These ultra-low watt density heater pads are highly flexible, completely waterproof and include an industrial-grade adhesive backing for a quick and simple installation. The SPX heater pad utilizes a totally unique and proprietary multi-path heating element that cannot burn out while eliminating the hot-spots that single-path heaters are prone to encounter. The SPX-C-640 Tank Heater Pad has been specifically designed for temperature maintenance and freeze protection of Fiberglass (FRP) tanks and metal tanks with heat-sensitive contents. The 0.60 watts/sq.in. (930 watts/sq.m.) power density of the SPX-C-640 heater pad ensures safety and long life for both the heater and tank. These heaters are highly flexible, completely waterproof and include an industrial-grade adhesive backing for the quickest and simplest of installations.

For most SPX, EGLX and SPX-C tank heater installations we recommend the use of the 2XTC controller.  This microprocessor based, indicating temperature controller has been specifically designed for the application of tank temperature maintenance and is the most versatile and convenient controller on the market today.
